After their last event in SF, HRTechTank hosted their first event in Asia. The event took place in the new Bleuprint co-working space from Swire Properties in Quarry Bay.
HRTechTank is a global series of Demo Day unconferences for HR tech start-ups. The purpose of HRTechTank is to connect, educate and promote innovators in the HR & Recruitment software space to form a community of HR progressives.
The day was brilliantly orchestrated by Taras Polischuk, the founder of HRTechTank and Joshua Wong, a junior partner at HRTechTank.
HR Tech Tank focuses on connecting the three key parties in any HR community in HK: 50 people from the best HR startups, the Best VC in the field and executives from Global HR companies. The event saw a wide variety of attendees, ranging from HR executives at large multi-national companies, startups, recruitment firms and venture capitalists. Startups at the event came from a diverse set of included Wantedly, Cxagroup, Talkpush, Imoffered, Gweek, Unibly, Weesper, Agorize & HR recruitment firm.
The entire day was excellent and kicked off with a keynote introduction by Taras Polischuk who walked attendees through the latest trends in the Human Resources area and what to expect next year. A selected number of innovative kick-offs then shared their pitch in front of the audience. The audience then had the opportunity to ask questions.
The day concluded by an extremely informative panel with the following panelists where the specific challenges and opportunities in the HR field were discussed. In parallel, the latest technologies that facilitate recruiting, engagement and general employee satisfaction were compared and discussed in the context of every day examples.
