Our startup is growing fast and expanding globally. Our Hong Kong office needs a superstar intern to independently handle editorial and content production alongside the Communications and Office Manager. We are looking for an organised, meticulous and creative copywriter with a head for strategy. Reporting to the founding director, you are responsible for marketing our business ethos and services in Hong Kong through blogs, newsletters and social media content. You’ll also be expected to help out with compiling the content and space photos online so attention to detail is key. This is a fantastic challenge for an intern to make their mark and gain full exposure to all aspects of the business.
YOUR PROFILE
- Enjoys writing exceptional editorial copy and ensures all content is kept fresh and interesting
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills - 100% spelling and grammar accuracy
- Undergraduate or graduate with high performance in a Communications or English degree preferred
- Works to many tight deadlines easily with a firm understanding of our target audience
- Adheres to the brand voice consistently and creatively, i.e. tone, language, hashtags
- Solid understanding of online social networks and SEO is beneficial
- Passion for the London retail market
- Ability to work independently and also a team player
KEY TASKS
- Write and maintain a blog about upcoming spaces, retail news and inspiration
- Create and send out newsletters to clients and subscribers (Guides/How-to/Inspiration)
- Write regular marketing campaigns with professional imagery and share them across all social media platforms consistently
- Monitor social media channels and statistics (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
- Contribute to the on-boarding process by uploading space listings and photos precisely
- Manage all user inquiries, questions and feedback on social media
- Benchmark our global online strategy against competitors
- Write press releases, presentations and pitches
