The SuperCharger Relationship Manager (“the manager”) is responsible for establishing, maintaining and growing key Partnerships for the FinTech accelerator program, in order to deepen the interaction with our main partners and fuel the expansion of our extensive industry network. The manager is expected to engage and coordinate with important stakeholders on an ongoing basis, as their dedicated point of contact, and to ensure that he or she has all the resources required to do so in a timely, accurate and professional manner. These relationships range from corporate partners (international financial institutions and consulting firms) to investors (angels, venture capital and private equity firms), startup mentors (industry experts and thought leaders) as well as any community networks and individuals with whom we need to establish a formal connection. It is the responsibility of the manager to strategize, prioritize, and manage client onboarding and relationship building. In addition to these responsibilities, the manager will be expected to assist with the advisory of startups in either a supporting capacity (with many learning opportunities) or more proactively depending on his or her aptitude and experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Reach out to key persons and organizations; regularly attend in-person meetings; prepare and present on professional presentations;
- Research organizations and strategize for new engagements to assist in business development;
- Work closely with the Managing Director to design unique value propositions;
- Work closely with the Program Manager to ensure partners’ expectations and in line with program deliverables
- Assist in the advisory process to startups in accordance to their needs and circumstances;
- Prepare and attend international roadshows. This includes arranging and attending meetings with international startups, regulators, investors and potential partners
Qualifications and Skills
The manager should be a talented communicator, a driven self-starter, team-oriented, and someone who can thrive in a small office environment. He or she must be organized and professional enough to regularly interact with senior people within large organizations and government officials. Previous experience in client facing role is essential (e.g. sales related, account or relationship management). Some experience or educational background centered around Finance, Technology, or Entrepreneurship is highly valued; experience working with startups or knowledge of FinTech-related topics (such as P2P lending, mobile payments, cybersecurity, big data, Blockchain, RegTech, etc.) is a plus. However, anyone with the right attitude is encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelors or Master degree;
- At least 1-2 years of work experience (in client facing / sales role)
- Knowledge of finance and/or FinTech topics a plus;
- Command excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Experience writing professional English-language reports;
- Full business proficiency in English; (Cantonese & Mandarin are a plus)
- Experience in CRM software and data management
