Do you fancy creating inspiring content? Are you tech-savvy and have a passion for content marketing? We are looking for a spirited Content Executive to join StashAway's Marketing team to help tell the awe-inspiring story of StashAway through our website, marketing campaigns, social media platforms, and other brand touchpoints.
You will make big financial decisions and detailed investing transactions seem simple, appropriately serious and powerfully rewarding for our prospective clients. You will interpret written and audio content from English to Cantonese, making sure to maintain the originally intended meaning, format, and tone.
You will work closely with StashAway Hong Kong's Country Manager and regularly work with the Marketing team in the Singapore headquarters.
Responsibilities:
- Read and thoroughly understand the context of the materials, before preparing all marketing communication materials for StashAway's launch in Hong Kong.
- Early on, you will work closely with the Head of Communications to understand the brand's tone of voice and messaging.
- Become familiar with industry-specific terminology and concepts. Don't worry, training will be provided.
- Ensure that the texts you translate convey the originally intended meaning, format, and tone.
- Convert text and audio recordings from English to Cantonese.
- Marketing materials include, but are not limited to:
- Gradually create a translation glossary for your team in Hong Kong
Requirements:
- Only open to Hong Kong Citizens or Permanent Residents.
- >2 years of work experience as a translator.
- Diploma, degree or professional education qualification in Translation, Interpreting, Linguistics or similar field.
- Deep familiarity with Hong Kong culture. Most of the content that you will be translating will need to be localised.
- Exceptional communication skills in both English and Cantonese.
- Excellent comprehension of written Traditional Chinese.
- Comfortable generating and translating new written content.
- Background and/or familiarity in financial services is a plus.
- Comprehension of Simplified Chinese is a plus.
