Sprout is a trusted stakeholder management software-as-a-service that helps companies better manage their equity, employee share options and digital assets. The founders of Sprout are experienced startup veterans who noticed both service and knowledge gaps in how we manage this. Our mission is to create transparency and democratize economic empowerment and stakeholder management for everyone. We teach people how to turn equity and tokens into the most powerful stakeholder engagement tool.
Roots was founded by Andy Lee, an ex-Uber APAC senior executive, and Tony Sun, a China product and engineering leader, who both have a combined 40-years of experience launching organizations and growing teams to scale. We were founded in 2019 and we are backed by a group of prominent early-stage investors.
For What We Are Hiring
We’re looking for an experienced, high energy part-time recruiter / admin to help us find amazing people and support our team. This right person will obsess about finding and bringing the best people in the business to join us.
You will immediately roll up your sleeves and dive deep into the water and support all administrative tasks and challenges in a fast-paced environment. You will be known as a logistical “fixer” and as part of a new startup, there are a lot of tasks and problems that require a detailed oriented, thoughtful and proactive person.
You will start from the ground up to build and launch the very rocket ship you will ride. You’ll have a unique opportunity to join a startup and learn the best practices from Silicon Valley and China against the backdrop of Hong Kong.

What You Will Do
Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategy and process with an eye on continuous improvement and optimization
Craft and hone your pitch and storytelling about Sprout to attract the right candidates
Manage and communicate employer branding in the marketplace
Work with outside headhunters and staffing agencies to identify new high quality talent
Qualify high caliber candidates with an eye for detail through resume reviews and interview screens
Scour job search websites and related online communities and groups for potential recruits and relentlessly contact new candidates
Understand and present the company and opportunity to candidates in a succinct and convincing manner
Shepherd and manage the “interview loop” with hiring managers and interviewers with an eye on creating the best candidate experience possible
Minimize any bureaucracy and drive to a decision making, new hire paperwork and on-boarding process
Be a partner to new hires and introduce them to the company and walk them through the hiring and training process
Serve as an employee advocate for new hires as well as established employees
As an administration lead, your friends would describe you as highly organized, meticulous and extremely helpful. You are the kind of person that takes initiative and seeks to create order out of things that are left unorganized. Because of this, you will be called upon for your ninja skills to organize and execute a range of projects and activities.
Your Qualifications
5-10 years’ recruiting experience - for example, be prepared to share learnings, war stories or how you sources and closed key hires
Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills
Supernatural listening skills and reader of people
Demonstrable experience in Internet technology, SaaS and / or software services industry recruiting
Creative problem solving and effective negotiating skills
Analytical mindset with a keen eye for details
Extensive knowledge of applicant tracking software programs
Familiarity with online job hunting websites and social media platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, preferably with Mandarin speaking skills
Advanced degree in Graphic Design, Media Arts, Visual Communication or equivalent is preferred.
