Parle is a browser extension and PDF viewer, which allows users to annotate any website or PDF. Users are able to make and view content specific annotations. Parle analyzes the webpage or PDF and breaks it down into important paragraphs and images. Users can then select a specific part, which they would like to comment on. Parle is also able to detect similar content and shows the same comments and discussions if the content is similar. This allows Parle’s pins to be independent of URLs as it is specific to the content rather than the website.
