We’re looking for a Software Solution Consultant (Presales) who possesses both technical expertise and business consulting acumen to understand our potential client’s businesses and provide insightful solutions. Candidates with potential but having less experience could be considered for a junior position.

Most of our clients are either early-stage startups seeking help with rapid idea validation or enterprises in need of support for software-led digital transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team and provide technical consulting expertise to clients.
  • Discover and clearly understand potential clients' pain points, challenges, and bottlenecks in their systems, processes, and workflows.
  • Provide high-level software solution design and development consultations to clients as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Translate clients’ business and technical requirements into practical and persuasive project proposals, PoC, demos and presentations.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers for cost estimation and defining the scope of work.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments, trends and competitors within the software industry through ongoing research and learning.
  • Drive business demand and identify potential clients by seizing opportunities to participate in industry marketing events like seminars and workshops.

 

What we’re looking for in you…

  • Demonstration of passion for technology, e.g. side projects, hackathons, bootcamps etc.
  • With a hunger for knowledge and not afraid of reading technical documents.
  • Ability to build simple PoC and demos.
  • Strong (technical) proposal writing, presentation and communication skills.
  • A creative and thoughtful thinker who can relate technology to business impact and create unique solutions for potential clients.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in layman's terms.
  • Proficiency in English and Cantonese.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience in software client-facing presales would be a huge plus.
  • Knowledge of web / mobile / AI technologies (e.g. machine learning, LLM etc.).
  • Experience in a fast-paced company / startup.
