We believe that with support and meaningful relationships, every young person can grow up with hope, purpose, and a firm belief in themselves.
We are losing bright futures every single day due to depression, bullying, and suicide.
Young teens with depression and psychological problems have significantly deteriorated life chances. They have lower graduation rate, lower income, and lower probability of getting married. They are five times more likely to abuse drugs, and 30 times more likely to kill themselves.
These are economic and human costs which occur each year, every year.
50 percent of adolescents display symptoms of depression.
Only 1 in 5 who need mental health services receives them.
But we believe there can be a better way.
We are creating an engaging, yet safe, space where teens can learn how to identify and cope with their emotions. We do this through a positive wellbeing programme for secondary schools.
If you believe in what we believe -- that with the right support and meaningful relationships, every young person can grow up with hope, purpose, and a firm belief in themselves -- then join us!
We are looking for:
Passionate people who care about youth and mental health; who also happen to be designers / game developers / web developers / any role you feel you can contribute to.
