Kosmic is revolutionizing education. As once students ourselves, we realized that most of the students nowadays lack a systematic way of studying, hence struggling to master materials effectively. We believe that in high-school, students can greatly reduce their time in preparing for exams given the right teacher and a systematic way of studying by mastering materials through pre-recoded video lectures at Kosmic; we imagine school teachers in the future taking up the role of hyper-personalizing education through identifying students' strengths and weaknesses, and answering students' questions in an interactive manner. Our first step is building an on-demand examination-oriented video streaming service for high-school students.

Our communications team go above and beyond to tell our stories and communicate our core values everywhere effectively in this world of noises to drive awareness and usage. We are looking for a Marketing Manager dedicated to skillfully developing and implementing our marketing strategy to drive user growth. As the core hire of our Communications Team, you will also work collaboratively with other areas including PR, Design, be a generalist who works with our key agency partners to communicate our message and drive usage through marketing, public relations, and branding as we continue to push humanity forward.
Responsibilities:
- Own, champion, develop and execute risk-taking and effective marketing strategies across all channels (Offline, Social, to drive user growth and exposure.
- A strategic storytelling sensibility, visual and design sensibility, and a deep understanding of our audiences – both parents and students - to develop best in class, ground-breaking campaigns that position Kosmic as an up-and-coming exciting education brand consistently.
- Conduct and disseminate regular metrics reviews and AARs (after action reviews) on projects including results, lessons learned and best practices
- Lead the management of creative and media agency partners and build capability of local teams to foster best-in-class agency partnerships
Qualifications
- Passion for innovative consumer technology products and education.
- 1+ year of relevant work experience at marketing division, with preference for at least experience in the consumer internet space of design, technology, educational or FMCG brands.
- Experience in marketing strategies development or implementation, off- and online media, including social, SEO, measurement & analytics, project / campaign.
- Creativity and ability to develop a cutting-edge marketing strategies.
- Fluent written and oral English and Cantonese.
- Strong understanding of Hong Kong teenage sector and behavior, understanding in the parents sector is a plus.
- Commitment to high creative standards and pushing for constant innovation.
- High-energy self-starter with a passion for your work, tolerance for ambiguity in a fast-paced setting, and a strong willingness to learn and synthesize information at anytime.
