The company is now looking for International Business Director to build its business in this critical and rapidly expanding market. The Director will play a key role in the company’s continued expansion internationally and will help to shape strategy, positioning and partnership decisions while creating a sustainable business throughout the region.
They will promote the adoption of disruptive, world-class technology with the power to protect assets and lives while also lowering costs. Primary responsibilities include identifying sales opportunities, managing partner relationships, and closing deals. There will also be the opportunity help to build a high-performance team capable of identifying and responding to expanding market needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and responsible for the Profit and Lost of the company’s overseas business
- Develop & Manage Sales and Business Development team
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve annual sales targets and to expand the company’s customers and partnership base
- Manage company’s sales figures with Insight’s appointed CRM system to ensure consistently updated for reporting
- Identify, build, maintain effective and long-lasting customer and partner relationships
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
- Guide and manage the sales process from end-to-end, bringing deals to close
- Identify sales leads and opportunities, both directly with potential customers and through leveraging partners
- Develop and continue to refine product pricing strategy and the overall business model
- Develop import and distribution partnerships for each of the countries entered / where there is demand
- Identify system integrators and system implementation partners
- Propose and execute business development initiatives (e.g. trade events)
Requirements
- 10+ years in a sales or business development role in relevant industry(ies)
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or other equivalent disciplines
- Demonstrated ability in closing multi-million USD deals
- Experience in selling to or partnering with one or more of the following organizations:
- Governments, Well established multinational companies, regional systems integrators, forestry organizations or plantations, aerial data service operators
- Excellent communication skills in written/spoken
- Entrepreneurial, ambitious and the ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Willing to travel to support business needs
