A) Your Partnerships responsibilities
Description: We are seeking a highly motivated, proactive, self-starter business development/sales executive to join our Partnerships team. The successful candidate will work closely with existing and new partners, such as charities, universities, corporates and network associations.
Responsibilities: You will be compiling lists of partner contacts, draft pitch materials and sponsorship proposals, cold/warm-call or set up follow-up meetings, as well as be their account manager.
B) Your Events and PR responsibilities
Description: We are seeking a self-driven, detail-oriented, and organised multi-tasker who has excellent interpersonal communication skills. The successful candidate will brainstorm, plan and execute marketing events such as fundraisers or campaigns in order to deepen our relationship with the partners, as well as engage with our audience organically.
Responsibilities: You will be planning, designing and executing events that will generate awareness, publicity and brand value for Givo. You will manage, liaise and negotiate with event vendors for merchandise, venues, catering etc. You will draft sponsorship proposals, event EDM materials and press releases for media pitching.
Requirements for this position:
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 1+ years of experience in events, marketing, public relations, OR business development/sales account management
Fluent in spoken and written English and Cantonese
Passionate about charity and technology
Enjoys working in fast-paced, steep learning, start-up culture
Preferred:
Passion for and experience with the charity sector
Experience in drafting proposals (sponsorships, corporate)
Experience in drafting press releases and conducting media pitching
