Established in 2017, Fasta.ai is a fast-moving tech company with a vision of empowering people with A.I. technology in digital marketing and fin-tech space. With a focus of academic research in deep learning and natural language processing, Fasta develops various A.I. products ranging from social analytical platforms to wealth management virtual assistant chatbot that help our clients stay informed with summarized information and real-time trends to make strategic business decisions.

With the expansion of our company in markets across Asia, we are looking for an aspiring Data Engineer to join our new team based in Hong Kong.

Job Highlights & Responsibilities

Develop, integrate and maintain large scale data acquisition and crawling pipeline
Design data infrastructure, data pipeline and machine learning models that are capable of unsupervised learning from raw data
Manage unstructured data, scrape data and identify required data for machine learning models
Review business requirement and analytics objective to source required dataset
Manage database for machine learning data to uphold proper data quality standards and governance;
Develop, integrate, and maintain ETL data pipeline in AI applications
Communicate with software and system engineer on data collection strategy
Coordinate with data annotation vendors/ external parties

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology or related disciplines
1+ years relevant experience of crawling and managing unstructured data in a large scale in an automatic fashion; less experienced candidate will be considered for a Junior Data Engineer Position
Knowledge of machine learning algorithms or data science concepts is a plus
Basic knowledge of various popular data stores, relational databases, Postgresl, mysql, s3, and understanding of pros and cons of each
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, positive work attitude, self-motivated and be a team player
Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin

Salary

Equity part is negotiable.

Salary range / month : HK$ 20k-40k
