After successfully helping thousands of talents from over 145 countries, with the same mission of becoming the “missing link” we started operations in Asia 2 years back. Asia turned out to be our fastest growing market and we have already got a remarkable pool of best-in- class clients who have put their trust in us to organize their first innovation challenges.
We are now building up our Hong-Kong team of talented, young & hungry individuals to help Agorize become a key player in Asia! We are looking to hire our Business Development Manager who will be responsible for growing our client portfolio in Hong Kong & Shenzhen.
Job Responsibilities:
Working hand in hand with the Head of Sales and the other BDs, the top management in Asia and in France, your mission will be to grow and nurture our clients and team by being the face and outreach of Agorize in Asia:
- [70%] Business Development: Prospecting, phoning, lead generation, engage new clients, signing up new contracts, managing relationship with key partners. Agorize Asia’s future growth will rest on your shoulders!
- [10%] Supporting, onboarding & training: Working hand in hand with the Head of Sales to onboard the other BDs and share the best practices internally to have all the sales team on the same line.
- [10%] Project Management:Once the contract is signed, you will be working with a cross-functional team (product, operations, community, finance) to make it happen!
- [10%] Marketing & Events:Development of new sales support materials, finding new market opportunities, organizing creative workshops & events, etc.
What you bring:
- Experience: You already have a strong experience in the Open Innovation space with a track record of multiple Innovation projects/SaaS Platforms launched and operated for corporates, incubators, universities...
- Outstanding commercial skills with a 4 to 6-year track record in B2B Complex Sales and experience with full life cycle sales including lead generation, lead qualification, outreach, through to deal closing.
- Communication : Experience selling to multiple personas (VPs and C-levels)
- You already benefit from an international exposure and have a network in HK/SZ.
- You have a few years of international exposure
- Deal Size: Experience closing deal sizes of US$30-250K
- Attitude: An entrepreneurial mindset , a proactive multi-tasker, ambitious, and with the capability to “think out of the box”. You do not take NO as an answer and you are not afraid to run the extra mile.
- Fluency in English is compulsory and French is a plus to deal with the HQ in France.
