Accelerate is a high-growth, socially aligned education startup that bridges the gap between education and employment across innovation verticals including software development, data science and machine learning, UX, and other hot technology skill areas. We make it easy for companies to hire top talent they will not find through traditional hiring practices.
We are looking for a Marketing and Content Manager who will be focused on creating promotional content to share with leads of all stages, grow our digital and social channels and build a network with PR and Media Blogs (particularly in Hong Kong). They key metric for this position is qualified leads generated.
This role is a great opportunity to utilize current content/writing skills you currently possess as well as learn new skills that will help you grow as a marketing professional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft Engaging Content: We train students in some of today's most interesting transformative technologies. You'll learn more about each one and write content (Eng./Cn.) that will demonstrate our authority on the topics.
- Keep Our Followers Updated: You'll do some daily and weekly maintenance to our social and email channels to keep our followers informed on what's going on at Accelerate.
- Build a Digital Network: Extend our influence and make connections in the blogging and PR world (local first) to get our content to new audiences.
- Optimize PPC Channels: Analyse and update our PPC channels (Facebook, Google Ads) to capture the attention of relevant leads.
- Experiment like a Digital Scientist: You'll work closely with our growth teams to experiment with promising new channels and figure out what is scalable for the team to pursue.
- Kickstart our Video Content: Whether you've worked with shooting and editing some videos before, we'd like to work with you to start capturing some of the magic that goes on at our campus from day to day.
- Monitor and Report Analytics: Utilize Google and Social Analytics to see what marketing efforts are working, or not, and find areas for improvement and scaling.
Requirements:
- 2+ Years experience with content creation. ideally writing in Chinese and English
- Proactive Growth Mindset - The ability to come in each week with fresh ideas and desire to learn about new topics
- Ability to work well with others in brainstorming sessions
- Patience when working with team mates to generate content that is relevant to their specific skill sets
- Ideal but not required: Graphic design or video editing skills
- Experience with managing social media channels and Google Analytics
- Fluent in English and Cantonese
