The Vision-based Intelligent Forklift AGV System, a research project from Chinese University of Hong Kong received over HK$15 M in venture capital funding to market the system in Mainland China.
The system can navigate, control its motion and avoid obstacles independently, which allows automation of transportation tasks within factories.
actiMirror, founded in 2013 in Italy, headquartered in Hong Kong with distribution networks in Europe and Asia Pacific, delivers big data and targeted media content for retail & hospitality using a data gathering platform of smart mirrors.
The mirror can analyze people’s age, gender, mood and ethnicity to provide a tailored advert.
