Kevin Kwa
Assistant Manager, Digital Innovation Lab, Singapore Airlines
Having had a taste of both the corporate and startup worlds, Kevin has embarked on a new challenge to help kickstart innovation in Singapore Airlines. His experience working at another Singapore giant DBS, as well as his years running both a social enterprise and marketplace startup, has put him in good stead to foster intrapreneurship in the world’s number 1 airline. A former digital nomad and a serial hackathoner, Kevin believes the future of travel lies in creating a truly unique experience for each traveler through personalization.
Vimal K Rai
HK Chapter leader of Travel Massive
Vimal is a world traveler, having lived in 8 different cities, and he now runs a boutique consultancy from Hong Kong, that prioritizes excellence in customer experience in the aviation and travel retail domains. He has worked with several airlines, both as an employee and as a service provider, and for the last 3 years has also mentored 4 startups across Europe, India, and SEAsia. He is fascinated by the impact of technology on consumer behavior and believes the key to truly personalized and transformative customer experience lies in being able to “join the dots” strategically, from end to end, and across all business verticals, firmly putting customers first, front and center.
Johannes Jaeger
Business Developer APAC of Agorize Asia
Originally from Germany, has been living around the Asia Pacific for over ten years. His journey in the TravelTech space started in 2015 with the founding of his first startup - a peer to peer foreign currency exchange company. An active hacker, he and his team won the world's largest hackathon: AngelHack, organized Europe's largest hackathon: Junction and the largest hackathon in Greater China: hackUST. Returning to his passion (Travel) he spent 18 months engineering Hack Horizon (www.hackhorizon.com) – the world’s first TravelTech hackathon on a plane, which he co-founded to extend the innovation runway beyond the hackathon and break siloes within the travel and start-up ecosystem.
