| About Kyle and Joe |
Roots consists of 2 co-founders, Kyle Yeung and Joe Cheng, both graduated from the HKUST MBA earlier this year. Kyle spent 2 years in a licensed financial institution where he specialized in the mortgage sector before MBA, managing a HKD 30 million mortgage portfolio, which trended at a 15% yield after leverage. That is also where he came up with the concept of Roots.
Pre-MBA, Joe was an associate business manager in the private wealth management industry. With one of his biggest achievements in administering client transfer of 3,000+ accounts and over USD 10 billion asset under management for the Julius Baer – Bank of America Merrill Lynch integration.
