Co-organised by HKTDC and Piece Future,  IPHatch Hong Kong is an open-innovation competition looking for enthusiastic start-ups or entrepreneurs to bring business concepts to fruition by commercialising  the IPs/technology portfolios from renowned MNCs. 

This year, we bring a total of 15 IP/ tech portfolios from Nokia and Panasonic, and among which 10 portfolios come with 2 patent families each.  HKSTP is joining hands as our strategic partner to provide incubation support,  while Hong Kong X , Sino Inno Lab and Angel Investment Foundation are the funding partners.

Webinar briefing sessions will be held on  29th April, 7th  and 14th  May  in which the 15 patent portfolios on offer will be introduced in details,  practical tips and possible commercial usages of the portfolios will be shared too.  The competition deadline is set on 31 May.  Competition winners will get IP/ technology portfolios, mentoring and business plan refinement, business network, fast-track for joining incubation programme and stand a chance of getting VC funding support.
