Curious about what Creating Shared Value and Social Innovation in Food Industry in Hong Kong and Asia?
Do join our first Training Session with Alyssa Berggren! This session will prepare you to delve into the food industry sector through the lens of social innovation.
Alyssa Berggren is the Senior Manager at Shared Value Department, New World Development (NWD). Prior to her role at NWD, Alyssa has accumulated over 9 years of experience in the management and strategic planning of local and international non-profit organizations, including Green Monday and Junior Achievement Hong Kong. Alyssa also has a strong global exposure, with her past and present charity projects covering Hong Kong, Malawi (Africa), Nepal, USA, and China.
Alyssa’s life experience has been her strongest motivator to devote her career in doing good and empowering women to pursue their dreams. Her belief has inspired her to run an orphanage in Africa under extreme resources and environment for 2 years, and also co-found a charity in Hong Kong to provide all-round services to more than 1,600 underprivileged families.
Alyssa is currently leading the Shared Value team at NWD in incubating different social innovation projects with CSV (Creating Shared Value) elements and grooming a next generation of social innovators that are capable of balancing business interests with social good to create a more sustainable future.
