Syed Musheer Ahmed, General Manager, FinTech Association of Hong Kong
穆希尔·艾哈迈德先生，香港金融科技协会总经理
Musheer is the General Manager of Fintech Association of Hong Kong. He has an extensive background in financial services and technology, having been a global markets trader for a decade, and a management consultant following his MBA. He is a founding member of Fintech Association of Hong Kong and a member of UN ESCAP Economic Sustainable Business Network (ESBN) Youth and Women Entrepreneurs Taskforce (YET) and co-founder of IndiaTech Hong Kong.
Musheer has a keen interest in technologies impacting/disrupting investment banking such as blockchain, artificial intelligence and digital banking. He is a mentor and speaker at industry events in the region and guest lecturer on topics of Fintech, Investment Management, Cryptocurrency and blockchain, Artificial Intelligence at HKU, HKUST, HKU Space, CUHK and Lingnan University. He has written blogs on Fintech and Investment Banking and been quoted in various media channels, including on CNBC, SCMP, IFLR, Asian Investor, Lets Talk Payments.
Alan Rosling CBE
Alan Rosling is a strategic advisor focused on assisting international companies with Asian strategy, most particularly India-related. He also assists smaller growth companies as they ramp up.
Alan co-founded Kiran Energy, one of India’s first independent solar power producers. Kiran was acquired by a strategic buyer in 2018.
He is a Non Executive Director of Coats Group Plc and Constellation Alpha Capital Corporation. He is also Senior Advisor to Navam Capital, an early stage technology venture fund which nominated him to the Board of Vyome Lifesciences. He works with a number of other early stage companies including Peotic Technologies, Insolight and RedGirraffe.com.
Alan was an Executive Director of Tata Sons Limited for five years from 2004 and was the Director responsible for internationalising the Tata Group. From 1998 to 2003 he was Chairman of the Jardine Matheson Group in India.
His earlier career included the Policy Unit at No.10 Downing Street; Strategy Director at United Distillers, CEO of a division of Courtaulds Textiles and S.G. Warburg.
Alan was educated at Cambridge University and the Harvard Business School. His first book, Boom Country? The New Wave of Indian Enterprise, was published by Hachette in 2017. He writes a regular column in BW BusinessWorld.
