Panel discussion on French Tech and French Reforms in the context of the Fintech Week in Hong Kong (October 29th - November 2nd).

Natixis offices are located on the 71/F of the International Commerce Centre (ICC) at 1 Austin Road West, Kowloon.
This event is by invitation only, pre-registration is mandatory and the organizers reserve the right of admission.
Check in process:
Upon arrival at the ICC building entrance, proceed to Level 8 (if arriving by taxi) or proceed to Level 3 (if arriving by MTR). Show your Eventbrite ticket and HKID to a representative will hand you the ICC temporary pass. Please keep this pass with you at all times while in our premises. Take 1st set of elevators to 49/Floor. Use the ICC temporary pass to enter the area where you can access the 2nd set of elevator proceed to level 71. Please remember to return the temporary pass card by dropping it in the collection box after exiting the first set of elevators on 49th floor
Panel speakers:
- Professor Alistair Cole, University of Cardiff and Sciences Po Lyon. Professor Cole was the Vincent Wright Chair Professor in 2007 in Sciences Po Paris. He is a renowned political science professor who will publish a book on Emmanuel Macron leadership in March 2019. He is a graduate of LSE and Oxford University.
- Mrs. Alicia Garcia-Herrero, Chief Economist Asia for Natixis, Senior Research Fellow at the European think-tank BRUEGEL, Senior Research Fellow at El Cano Royal Institute for International Relations, adjunct professor at University of Science and Technology (HKUST) as well as HKUST Business School, Member of the Board of the Hong Kong Forum, member of the Council of Advisors of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority Institute for Monetary Research (HKMA)
- Romain Aubert, a Representative of La French Tech based in Shenzhen, who will describe the latest measures announced in October 2018 (French Tech visas, French tech communities, French tech Capitales). Romain Aubert currently works for the international team of French Tech Mission, a government-led taskforce built to bolster the French Tech ecosystem. He has worked as a consultant for both startups and large corporations on venture building and open innovation projects, and for a USD 8 billion investment fund.
- A Tech entrepreneur based in Shenzhen: Hugo Garcia-Cotte , the French senior manager of Cypheme (Cypheme is a Shenzhen based company which created an artificial intelligence capable of detecting counterfeit products by analyzing the product's packaging with a neural network, using only a cellphone camera). Hugo will talk about his own journey as a French entrepreneur with a Shenzhen-based tech business. He went through "500 Startups" in the Silicon Valley, Microsoft Accelerator Paris, Lafayette Plug and Play and Station F in France
