Operations Manager

You’re independent, a self-starter, detail oriented, and highly dependable. You’re looking to be an integral part of a small team doing real things, and you’re ready to roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty.
Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
Operations:
- Building and managing the fulfillment process of Lumos Helmets and accessories to customers minimizing both stock outs as well as oversupply.
- Ensuring that we have processes in place to meet the requirements of our various key channels including:
- Direct website sales -> Fulfillment via Amazon in the US + EU, and from our HK office for rest of the world
- Amazon sales
- Distributors in various countries (eg. Australia, Switzerland, France, Denmark, Israel, Mexico etc.)
- Independent bike shops across the US and EU
- Big box retailers (eg. Target, SportsChek)
- You will need to be familiar with each of these channels, their corresponding requirements, and that our sales and production are sufficiently in sync so that we can supply product to our customers
- Supporting the same as we expand and add new products into our assortment
- Explore and execute ways to improve our operational efficiencies and reduce fulfillment costs
Business Management and Tracking:
- Oversee the maintenance of our books and management accounts
- Assisting the CEO to develop monthly and quarterly business goals, and monitoring key business metrics and producing reports and analysis on a weekly basis
- Assisting the CEO to produce quarterly reports to present for board reviews, and team and other stakeholder reviews
Note: Given the very early stage of the company that we are in, a high degree of adaptability is expected and required for this role. We are constantly learning new things and adapting our strategy and activities accordingly.

Requirements:
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience in an operations role, preferably dealing with consumer products and retailers.
- Competency in oral and written English as well as Cantonese.
- You’re meticulous, detail-oriented, and organized.
- You don’t cut corners. You need to see it get done right.
- You’re excited about the opportunity to have a big impact as part of a small team.
- You’re able to work well with people and love helping people get the job done.
- You’re passionate about what we’re doing at Lumos and are not afraid to get your hands dirty.
- Competent with excel, MS Office.
- Passion for and existing activity with the cycling community a huge plus.
