Accounting/Finance Intern
Dee Dances is seeking for a diligent, driven, and dedicated accounting/finance intern who shares our passion for health, fitness and wellness and has genuine care for people. In this role, you will be learning from and working closely with the startup founder who is an experienced investment banking/finance professional.
This role involves:
- driving new accounting processes
- performing online bookkeeping/accounting with MYOB
- perform bank reconciliations
- perform accounting data entries
- prepare financial statements
- work closely with external auditors
Requirements:
- Undergraduate/Postgraduate accounting/finance degree in a top ranked University (with a Distinction average and above)
- Ability to be very detailed and thorough in all work
- Ability to use MYOB accounting system proficiently
- Ability to use Excel/spreadsheet softwares
- HK taxation law knowledge preferred
- Good English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin skills preferred
- Ability to solve problems with team and independently
- Self-motivated and full of initiative to drive the accounting process for the business
- Ability to interact with external parties such as accountants, auditors and others confidently
- Some experience or ability to demonstrate passion, interest or drive aligned to the role

Led by the founder Dee Sharon Oh, who is an experienced dance, fitness, career and life coach, we are a team of friendly, supportive and caring coaches who not only can teach you many forms of dance, fitness and yoga classes, but also inspire, motivate and push you to achieve your dream health, fitness and life!
OUR MISSION
Dee Dances aims to provide affordable high quality dance fitness classes to all members of the community with tiered pricing for students, domestic helpers, social workers, pensioners and the underprivileged.
Classes are conducted in the dance room facilities of government sports centre, private venues and clubhouses to keep the cost down.
We regularly conduct charity events that are affiliated with organisation such as the Cancer Fund Hong Kong.
DEE DANCES TEAM
Dee Dances was founded by Dee Sharon Oh, a passionate dance and yoga enthusiast who had previous investment banking and treasury management experience in a few of the largest and most successful international financial institutions in Hong Kong and Australia.
Dee is passionate about providing high quality dance and fitness classes to all members of the community at affordable prices to ensure health and fitness services are accessible to all and not just the elites of the society. Dee keeps a close watch of her students' health and wellbeing and motivates them to work harder to improve in their practice of dancing and yoga while getting more fit with her intense and energetic routines, while cracking the occasional jokes in class.
At Dee Dances, our team are made of the most passionate, caring and friendly teachers who continuously inspire and motivate all to achieve more with their dance and fitness practice while keeping a warm smile and paying enough attention without causing too much stress to the students to keep them happy, relaxed and relieved from the stresses of the workplace and hectic life in Hong Kong.
